This section titled AUTOPILOT TECHNICAL is a compilation of largely technical information related to building the Comstock Autopilot.  The intent is keep this information available to those in the future, near or distant, who might want to create a balloon autopilot.

Included are two descriptions of the autopilot (with varying detail), a numeration and partial flight history of the the ten autopilots of this design that were built, the Ball Model 400 variometer circuit diagram, the autopilot flight manual, a listing of the C+ program that drives this autopilot, and several photos of one of these autopilots.

Also included is description of an autopilot designed and built by British balloonist David Barker, and instructions on how to use it.
